Life Travel Log

Table Mountain, Cape Town, South Africa, May 2009

I tried the other day to pinpoint where exactly in my life that I fell in love with travel- where it went from something I enjoyed & did for work, to something I passionately loved & dreamed about.  I think meeting my husband & beginning to travel the world with him, having our escape from the everyday demands of life, creating our own special memories, daydreaming together about all the places we want to go was the thing that really addicted me to travel.  I grew up regularly traveling to Colorado & getting some good trips in with my church youth group.  I began traveling for work, but generally to no place special & rarely had the chance to see anything besides the airport.  We’ve been trying to do 1 big trip each year, with several smaller trips to see friends or baseball stadiums, combined with some long (driving) weekends around throughout the year.  Being an organizational nut, I wanted to make a time line of all our adventures & odysseys.
