Zoe 2008
Zoe is my first born child & a Vizsla (but don’t tell her she’s a dog!). I grew up with a Weimeraner & wanted a dog my last semester in college so I’d have plenty of time to spend with her before working full time. I researched and discovered all the amazing qualities and traits a Vizsla offers & I was sold. Born on January 6th, 2002, she flew from Iowa just in time for spring break & I’ve been in love ever since those first few days.

Our time in Austin, when she was a puppy, was fully of great memories of dog parks & river swims. Enjoy more adorable Vizsla puppy pictures of Zoe here. More than any girlfriend, Zoe has been with me through so much in the last 8 years & I can’t imagine life without her. Through agility classes, morning runs around the park, camping trips, nighttime snuggles in bed, she’s been by my side and brought more joy than I could have ever imagined.

Having another Vizsla, I can appreciate all the personality quirks & things that make me love Zoe to pieces. After 8 years together, many when it was just the two of us, we have such a rhythm and understanding between each other. She speaks my language, knows what I want, when I’ll give her extra treats or a special pet. She’s irrationally excited about meal times & treats, tilts & cocks her head when you talk to her about something she understands, realizes when I really mean for her to get off the bed & when I’ll let her stay.
