So, yes, I welcomed August with August Break & little blogging, and September was a whirlwind of 3 out of 5 weekends out of town. I’m not really predicting October will be much better, but I am committing to getting back on my routine. Something about the start a few new months, the change of the seasons in the air here in Houston, the invitation to re-group and get organized one again, and the last month before we launch into holiday season and kiss 2012 good bye!
Being fairly methodical (you could say slightly anal retentive), I do lots of lists and get re-motivated at the start of each month. So here’s what I’m looking forward to in October..
-Headed to Denver this weekend to visit with family Friday, attend the Yoga Journal conference Saturday in Estes Park, and do our final yoga photo shoot for Grow Soul Beautiful
-An insane work-travel schedule that includes Austin, New York (Long Island), Corpus Christi, Indianapolis, New York (upstate), Seattle, Dallas, and Little Rock (WHEW!)
-We’ve got some really exciting plans in the works that I’m hoping we will make real progress on this month (hint: it involves my dad, building a house, moving, and selling a house next year)
-Last month of training before the New York City Marathon: I did 18 yesterday & hope it will be much cooler for my 21 miler in 2 weeks
-Taking a Yoga Photo-A-Day for the Instagram Yoga Photo Challenge on Grow Soul Beautiful (the hashtag #yogaAday has exploded!)
-Getting back to routines: check lists, meditaiton, yoga, plank-a-day, daily blogging, more journaling, Instagram photo-a-day and other goodness
-Planning our Christmas vacation & starting to think about our anniversary trip in February
-More time with my *real* camera, going to be better about taking everyday life photos
-MADONNA – In concert!
GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: I think I can safely say that fall has arrived in Houston- I’m LOVING this weather!
