While I was in New York at the Creative Joy Retreat, hubby managed to wrangle a business trip to Florida into another baseball trip where he visited the new Marlins Stadium. He’s been to a baseball game at the old stadium when he lived in Miami.

His bests friend was able to make it out that weekend, so they had some boys time exploring South Beach & Little Havana hanging out together.

The stadium was new & modern, breaking with many other stadiums who attempt to bring lots of tradition into the architecture. It looks really pretty, and H was impressed with the sleek architecture inside and out.

Much like Minute Maid park, there was a wall of windows in outfield that make it feel open and bright when the roof is closed.
GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: Because the sink at my chicken I was preparing, I don’t have to cook dinner tonight.
