Around Bariloche Argentina

All in all, our time in Barilcohe was amazing!  I loved the town- the setting, the vibe, the scenery, the people. I loved watching the full moon set behind the mountains from our balcony & the days we spent breathing fresh air and relaxing.

The downtown area is adorable- a mix of old historic buildings and lots of influences.

We wandered upon a little market and checked out many of the interesting things for sale.

Downtown is really hilly, but offers stunning views down towards the water.  Along the waterfront, there are a few parks and a town square with lots of exciting things happening.

Main street is a mix of shops, a few restaurants, stores selling ski & camping gear, and tourists wandering aimlessly.

Our final day, as we were were preparing to leave Bariloche, this was the ominous view from our porch- the same view as the first shot above.  We weren’t really prepared for what this would do to the rest of our trip….

GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: Chicken soup and a PB&J sandwich still makes me feel better.
