Breakfast Yoga Club Houston

Breakfast Yoga Club Houston, May 2012

Several weekends ago, I headed downtown to check out the Houston Breakfast Yoga Club at the West Side Farmer’s market.  It was a long drive, but it was such a cool place- so many farmers and gardeners all selling their beautiful, fresh produce.  They had all sorts of amazing things there & I wish I’d had more time to explore.

My friend Shamron, who is partnering with me on Grow Soul Beautiful, was teaching a portion of the class that morning.

I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t get out of my yoga bubble very often & explore, so it was so cool to see this amazing blend of people coming together in a wet parking lot next to a farmer’s market to share an hour of yoga together.

I had to arrive at Mark’s graduation all fancy, so I couldn’t participate in the class, but it was so fun to creep on the sidelines with my camera.

The energy of the whole area was amazing- everybody there opening up, getting loose, pushing themselves, surrendering into the poses.

Plus it made for some very fun photos as arms and legs moved in unison to the voice of the teacher.

Such a cool group of people & a really neat community event- hopefully I will be able to attend this month & meet some new people.

GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY:  Moving forward with so many good things- writing, buying, crafting, yoga, photography, blogging.

  4. It was my first event, but it was so neat. They were supposed to be in the grass, but it had stormed all morning. They have BYC in several cities around the country. THANKS FOR STOPPING BY! :)
