SS: Possible

Sunday Scribblings #303 PossibleThink big!  What is possible?

These last few months have really taught me that ANYTHING is possible.  I’ve been places and through things I never could have imagined in my wildest or worst dreams.  Looking back over the past year, it is unbelievable how much we have done & the places we have visited in our lifetime.  I know we can’t keep traveling like this forever, but I wonder what our life will look like in a few more years.

Husband & I chit chat a lot about our dreams & our future, it’s possible we would take a year off work.  It’s possible we’d move to NYC to work for a year.  It’s possible we’d move to the Woodlands.  It’s possible we’d adopt a child someday.  It’s not the possible things you think about that end up surprising you, it’s all the possibilities that you don’t even really consider ever remotely possible that shock you when they materialize.

Then there are things that I know are certainly possible (like having kids or  moving to Colorado) that I can’t in my wildest dreams imagine HOW they will be come possible or what it would look like once we got to that place.

I know that most people think running a marathon is impossible, but I’ve known enough people from every walk of life, every shape & size, every background, that have made the commitment to finishing 26.2 miles that I know finishing a marathon is possible for anybody that has the courage and commitment to do the training.

Going through something bad, being on the verge of a near disaster, seeing everything you hold dear hanging on by a thin thread and realizing it’s a very real possibility that you may lose it all is an incredibly eye-opening & helps you realize how much you took for granted.  The reminder that life is full of surprises and the possibility of it all keeps life interesting & entertaining.

GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: I’ve got girl dates tonight and tomorrow- can’t wait to catch up with friends!
