Christmas morning, while dropping the girls off at mom’s house before heading out of town, Zoe assumed her usual position at the table & was posing in all sorts of hilarious ways as she tried to get comfortable in the chair.

She has always been a paw-crosser since she was a puppy. Yesterday marked her 10th birthday- I can’t believe we have shared a decade together of ups & downs, high & lows, 5 different houses, several men and a few cities. She had her full check up last month & they said she is doing great for her age. She still runs more than 3 miles with me a few times a week & only occasionally gets stiff or sore. I keep both dogs on Cosequin & it really has helped her joints and movement.

Her whole face is solid white now & it looks like she’s got a mask on her muzzle. Her paws are pretty white too & it seems like her coat overall is lightening up with age. She’s getting lots of lumps & bumps with old age, but the vet isn’t too concerned by any of them right now.

She seems like she’s getting a little more ornery in her old age on occasion, but she’s generally sweet and loving 99% of the time- especially when Mia isn’t around. I loved all the various positions she tried in the chair to get comfortable, occasionally looking around and checking things out in the kitchen.
GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: Beautiful Saturday to catchup & then heading to see the Rockets game tonight.

Happy 10th birthday Zoe. You really are aging gracefully!
Happy Birthday, Zoe! Very regal, indeed!
Your Zoe is beautiful! My Zoe just turned 7 and likes to run, too!

Thank you- I’m amazed at how active Zoe still is at 10, even occasionally playful (feisty!) with Mia!
