Sunday Scribblings #301- Normal
I think that for the potential emotional load, this is one of the most overlooked words in the English language.
What do you think of normal?

The google image search results for “normal” were a bit scary, so I went with this billboard from Pinterst instead.
I think normal is a mirage or a myth. We are always in search of normal- trying to make sure waren’t too big or small, to short or tall. Wearing the right clothes, saying the right things. We desire to be just different enough that others think we are cool & unique, but not so different that we become abnormal.
I’m fairly fixed & rigid in my life- I thrive on normal, predictable routines and rhythms to life. Lately, life has been anything but normal- more like a crazy roller coaster ride that I can’t control and don’t know where it’s going. I’m trying to stick to my normal schedule for work, running, blogging and dancing.
By the way, we are NOT having normal winter weather right now in Houston. It is unseasonably warm, which is nice, but I do miss my nights by the fireplace.
I’m not feeling so normal tonight- very blah! So this will be short- it was all I could do to force myself to finish a SS tonight. No motivation to work on all the rest of my posts for this week.
GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: Had a very lovely & delicious lobster lunch with my family to celebrate John’s birthday.
