Happy New Year and Happy 300th prompt at Sunday Scribblings! (Fireworks! Balloons! Sparkles! Cheers!)
I hope that you and yours have a wonderful, happy 2012. The prompt this week is: New

Who doesn’t like new? There are a few things best aged- wine & cheese. Obviously this is a new year & I am thrilled about new time. I look forward to each new week, new month & new year. It’s always a time to re-group & re-start, set goals and plans for the future. A new year offers some extra vacation time- perhaps as a way to allow for people to reflect on the good & bad of the past 365 days. Maybe it’s to celebrate and give thanks for all the blessings over the last 12 months & prepare for all the challenges and opportunities for the next 12.
I am, as usual, several weeks behind on blogging- so I’ve got Christmas posts & Puerto Rico vacation pictures coming before I do my year-end wrap up and share my goals for the new year. I’ve got a few new projects I am taking on & a few new hobbies I am excited to get started with this week. I’m hoping to get a little blog facelift this summer for a new look, as well as acquire some new Photoshop skills to spice things up around here.
GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: Getting all crafty today & excited to start my One Little Word project.

I have always loved the new year simply because it does feel like a fresh start. Happy New Year!
