Although I went to the Colbie Caillat conert at the House of Blues a few weeks ago, it wasn’t my first trip. Hubby and I actually attended a Timbaland concert there in February of 2010 & I thought I’d lost all the photos in the madness of our New Zealand trip & moving into a new house last spring. Transferring my stuff to a new iPhone, I discovered these pictures that I took almost 2 years ago & was so glad I hadn’t lost them.
Our first trip, we opted for reserved seats up in the balcony & that’s really the way to go for more causal concerts where you don’t want to be in the pit or waaay in the back. We had great views & didn’t have to stand around in my high-heel shoes for hours on end.
It was a really cool concert & I discovered that I really liked some of Timbaland’s songs- they have great beats for running. The House of Blues is a really intimate venue & I follow their schedule to see if any other great artists are coming to town.
GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: Storms are headed to Houston today & I’m excited for some good thunder and lightening.
