New Office Grand Opening

Earlier this summer, my step-mom moved into a new office.  She’s a chiropractor & had been in the same office since first opening her practice over 20 years ago.  Dad had been working all spring & summer to get her new office finished and open for business in July, and they had an official grand opening party last month.

The community open house involved lots of local small businesses, free massages, food and prizes.  Her new reception area is spacious and I love the mini-stone they used on the counters.

I think this large room is considered the exercise and physical  therapy area, where patients get massages, treatments or instructions on strengthening & stretching exercises.

She got her x-ray equipment all moved over & she now has several adjustment rooms for patients.

The day was a beautiful one- full of smiles, tasty treats & some sidewalk shopping.

I’m very proud of her for running such a successful small business that brings health and vitality to so many people every day throughout the years.

Though the office was a labor of love for dad, he mostly just sat back and watched the events of the day.  I was having a bad day, so I sat on the tailgate and visited with him a while, taking the opportunity to snap our reflection in the glass windows in front of us.

GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: Survived my 14th marathon, although barely and made it home from San Antonio.
