One of the other great things about visiting Stephanie in Philadelphia in September was the chance to spend more time with her boyfriend Ken. I’d met him in the chaos and madness of our New Year’s Eve weekend in Time’s Square.
They have just recently moved in together and are navigating all the obstacles that come with combining two households + Ms. Ginger into a 1 bedroom loft in the heart of downtown Philadelphia
Ken is alright with me! After spending the weekend sleeping on their couch & enjoying several meals and lots of drinks with him, I couldn’t be more excited that my best friend has such an incredible man in her life.
We spent tons of time that weekend in deep discussion, lounging around joking, talking Ms. Ginger for walks, playing scrabble, enjoying long and delicious meals, cooking at home, and generally catching up on life.
This weekend one 1 year to the day she first met Ken- they refuse to call it an actual date, but I’m beyond thrilled that Stephanie is so much in love and so happy with Ken.
Just a few funny shots of Stephanie loving on Ginger. I’m scheming and planning to get Stephanie & Ken to come to Texas for a visit next year- hopefully some time in March so they go to their first rodeo.
Ken eventually grew weary of all my clicking & took my camera away from me to grab a few shots of Stephanie & I, which I adore!
GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: Stephanie sent me the sweetest care package full of pink and fun and glitter to cheer me up!
