A best friend is the best thing.
A best friend laughs with you, cries with you, struggles with you, runs marathons with you and loves you.
I’m so blessed to have such an amazing best friend who I get to see several times a year & I get to chat on the phone with every week.
We dance, we crack silly math jokes, we drink wine and we support each other.
It’s been almost 13 years that we’ve known each other- across many states, through many boys and making many unforgettable memories.
I am a better person today because of Stephanie and can’t imagine any other person to be my best friend.
She sends me handmade cards, silly iPhone pictures and her love from across the country.
Nothing beats a girls weekend away, full of chatter, spa time, puppy dogs, shopping, dining and catching up.
Although there may be thousands of miles or weeks that can separate us, we always pick up right where we left off and remain close.
Today, I am thankful for such a wonderful friend that God has blessed me with and I look forward to many more adventures with my best friend.
GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: My Pathfinder course is over (it rocked!) and I’ve started the Ordinary Courage e-course.
Awww…what a sweet post! One of my dearest friends lives in Greenville, SC. I see her maybe ever 18 months or so and she is not a phone talker, so we email occasionally and text in the interim. Same thing goes as with your friend Stephanie…whenever we are reunited…we never skip a beat! I love that!

Good for you for keeping up with your friend over distances. That takes dedication. Friends really are the best.
