My dad is working on putting together a website & asked if I would take photos of once of his recent houses that he built.

He has been building custom homes, commercial projects and remodeling for almost 40 years & I love seeing his finished projects- especially when it’s a gorgeous home like this one.

The kitchen included a sunny breakfast nook, a double walk-through butlers closet, tons of awesome appliances and acres of granite countertop.

The formal living room overlooked a small pond with a waterfall.

Their main entrance was stunning & provided a view through the solarium area into their backyard.

There was a casual living room area beside the kitchen so you could watch TV while preparing meals, another TV area upstairs with a wetbar, an office with a paino just off the solarium and beside their bedroom.

There were three guest bedrooms upstairs with great views and two gorgeous bathrooms.

The master bedroom was on the main floor and faced outside towards the pool area.

Now we are getting to my favorite part- her closet was amazing! Plus she had some great shoes

Their bathroom was enormous- with separate his & hers area for getting dressed and great views like the one out to the pool.

His closet was smaller, but still impressive. There was a walk-through shower and her dressing area with oodles of natural light beaming inside.

Finally, this is most interesting part of the home- the cavernous gameroom. He has been an avid and very distinguished hunter around the globe for several decades. He has hunted just about everything, every place around the world that you could possible hunt and he has some amazing stories.

My dad has remodeled this house several times over the years, expanded the game room with various add-ons and tore down the entirety of their house for this last remodel, except for the game room. Can you find the zebra, elephant, giraffe, lion, bear, hippo, rhino and cougar above?

Their outside patio is also a fabulous place to entertain on the over-sized deck, in the pool, or on their large wooded lot.

I was so glad I could visit and photograph one of my dad’s houses- it’s beautiful & I’m so proud of all the blood, sweat and tears he puts into making these gorgeous homes that people will have for decades into the future and are a small part of who he is.
GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: Labor Day weekend is going to be full of lots of labor as hubby & I both have to work, but we will be attending our first U of H football game on Saturday afternoon.

Great pics Amanda!!!! I love these
and a very gorgeous home!
That is a GORGEOUS house! Although I would nix the game room but to each their own

Thanks- I know, it was a little creepy walking around in there. I’ve grown up around that sort of thing, so I didn’t even think about how strange it might be to others.
Thank you very much!
