While I was hanging around hubby’s office the other day, I thought I’d snap some photos. One of the reasons I’m passionate about photography is the chance to capture & record history, to cherish and remember the past, to remember the times and places where you spent so much of your life.

Yesterday, hubby celebrated his 6th anniversary with his company & what an amazing & wild ride it has been. He is in sales and has worked incredibly hard and accomplished amazing things in such a short time. His office is sparsely decorated, save one frame with engagement pictures that I forced him to put up & a few of the awards he has won over the years.

We both “talk work” at home often since our careers are such a big part of our lives & I’ve heard numerous stories about all the production meetings, customer press checks, and the sales meetings that take place in this conference room.

This is the area between the hallway and his office at the end called the pit & where all of the customer service reps work on his various projects. I really need to do something nice for all the ladies for putting up with him for all these years.

He was busy trying to do a few things on Sunday afternoon so we could get to dinner & didn’t really appreciate my camera in his face.

Every fall, one of his clients goes through an annual printing cycle & that means it’s busy season. It usually entails lots of late nights, weekend check-ins at the office for proofing, even more than the usual number of emails and lots of last minute plans changes for us. And on that note, sadly, we don’t be able to go to San Fran this weekend & this will be the 2nd SF trip we’ve cancelled because of his work. You’d think I’d learn by now, but I’m still super bummed we can’t go.
GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: Girls happy hour this afternoon!

Oh man…that sucks! Sorry about your trip! I understand busy seasons all too well, so I totally empathize!
