Forth of July weekend, before our dinner cruise & swimming with the boys, H and his best friend headed to Denver for a quick trip to see another baseball stadium. Saturday morning they drove to Golden, but decided to skip the Coors tour and headed back downtown for walking tour of micro-breweries.
Because of all my traveling in June (Seattle and tons of work trips), I thought it would be too much to take on another trip. I was planning on going to Denver twice this fall, so I reluctnatly passed on the trip & hubby was glad to spend some guy time with Matt exploring a new city before the game.
They said the tour was a blast & they really enjoyed trying different beers and meeting cool people on their tour with them.
I’m not a beer girl- haven’t had one in probably 10 years. Hubby doesn’t drink beer usually, but he’s much more likely to drink with his buddies on a hot day or at the beach.
They enjoyed several breweries and tasted lots of beers before heading to the Rockies game that night.
GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: 18 mile training run done & only te dreaded 21 miler to go in a few weeks!
