
I cooked!!! Like a real meal!! Using all those vegetables!!! Yup, I was very proud of myself. Our cooking has been non-existant these past few months as we are both traveling and I was really excited to have all this fresh produce and a free evening last weekend.

We started off with one of our favorite snacks- guacamole! Need something to lure hubby into the kitchen so he will stay with me while I cooked the rest of the meal.

I chopped, sliced and diced up 3 colorful peppers, a huge onion, and some fresh broccoli.

I sauteed the onions and peppers with a little olive oil and fresh garlic, before adding some teriyaki sauce & lemon pepper to the chicken.

Paired with a fresh salad and a glass of wine, it was the perfect evening! I’m hoping to cook more in the next few months & I’d love some more easy meal ideas like this one.
GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: Headed for cooler weather today in New York, even if it’s only for a few hours.




Yum. I am now officially starving!
