Besides the capitol tour, the rest of downtown Little Rock was pretty darn nice (minus the heat & humidity). Lots of beautiful old buildings with charm & character.
Hopefully wont see one of these again- a bankruptcy court!
I was hoping to get up my 2nd day and run along the river, but we had to head out at 6 AM to the airport. There was a great mix of old & new downtown.
I think this fancy building was some type of federal complex, but they all run together a week later when I’m trying to remember.
The really nice thing about running at 6:30 is that it’s bright out, but the crowds aren’t out making running on the sidewalks or crossing streets dangerous.
I didn’t really get far enough away to take a great skyline shot, but here is half of downtown Little Rock.
They put me up in a swanky 2-story room, which unfortunately lacked proper A/C on the 2nd floor where the bed was at, but I did get an awesome view of the Arkansas river and will hopefully hit the trail down there next time.
GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: Booked a Napa tour for our San Francisco weekend- can’t wait!!!
