This is our lovely wedding quilt!
Since my awesome aunt gave it to us as we were leaving for our wedding in Puerto Vallarta, we’ve had it almost 5 years now.
It matches the yellows and browns in our living room perfectly, and on any given night, one of us is snuggled up on the couch with these beautiful flourishes.
I love the soft detail of the various flowers all matched up together and it’s so neat to have a real heirloom.
I think my cousin is making an album of all her mom’s quilts, so I was happy to take pictures of ours and tell her how much we love it.

Such a beautiful quilt and what a great present to give…there will always be a story with it as you pass it down through the generations! I’m jealous cuz nobody in my family quilts!!!
So beautiful. My boyfriend’s mother is a talented quilter and has made two for me within the past year — I cherish them! Such a special, meaningful gift — and it’s something few people know how to/like to do these days.
