Taking a break from my Washington trip photos since I”m a bit limited on my editing and uploading on the road. These are a few photos showing what a great summer my sister is having with all of our friends and just a reminder of how awesome it is to be a teenager, no matter how much drama and angst come along with it.
Don’t know why she was still carrying around the fake braid from her fashion show since she’s got such a beautiful real one. She’s been to camp in Oklahoma for high school kids, worked at the kids camp at Trinity Pines and they are headed to Costa Rica tomorrow for a mission trip.
One of their neighbors is a cheerleader at Texas A&M, and they went up to visit her for a basketball game earlier this year. The end of school was full of games and laughing with all of her friends.
She’s still into baking and loves to make things for her friends and still thinks she may want to do that as a summer job next year.

She’s still struggling with a few rules & was grounded this summer. She has helped us out watching the pups a few times & I went swimming with her and Mia one afternoon.
Just a few more driving lessons and she will be all set to get her license when she turns 16 in September.
GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: Last full day of vacation and I’m so glad we picked Costa Rica.
