I don’t typically do hotel reviews for work trips, but I don’t usually stay at such swank places! My boss wanted to stay here, so I was excited to check out the new hotel beside the Venetian.
Typical of everything it Vegas, it was big, opulent, over-the-top, lavish, swank and so much more with every details and design feature extravagantly included.
I was very impressed with the room, even though we got there too late for me to check out any bars or clubs. That’s my laptop on CPR right there as it was giving out on me during that trip.
The living area was slightly lower than the sleeping area & had an enormous couch just a few feet from the fully stocked mini-bar. I was easily amused with the curtains and drapes on a remote control that opened up to a stunning view….
Both day and night, the views from the 32nd floor of the Venetian set in front of Vegas were beautiful.
Gorgeous bathroom filled with all the expected amenities.
The room was equipped with 2 giant flat screens & another TV in the bathroom, 2 wireless phones, a full copier/fax machine and lots of ($$$) snacks.
I did manage to snag one picture of the very empty casinos on the way back from my run although I didn’t do any gambling.
GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: Ran a new PR in yesterday’s marathon, checked out Petco Park & made it home last night!
