I had a work trip to Vegas last week & didn’t get home until Friday night, and hubby was out of town all week in TN/NY. We decided to head back to Bay Flats Fishing Lodge in Seadrift on Saturday to make a mini-getaway for the long weekend. We arrived mid-afternoon & I had the pleasure of spending a few hours teaching Captain Chris the awesome-sauce that is Adobe Lightroom. I couldn’t live without Lightroom to organize all my photos & develop them from RAW format to something special, and I was so excited to teach him how much easier it will make it workflow of daily fishing photos to keyworded, watermarked, uploaded photos for his fishing reports.

Just before dinner, we headed out to the field to do some training with one of his hunting dogs. I took his camera & was showing him a few things since he’d just received his Nikon D7000. Hubby had my camera and was snapping away photos of both of us in action.

This is a previous of things to come as we headed out to go fishing on Sunday morning. Hint- many more bird that fish!
GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: Off to San Diego for a ultra-short weekend with another marathon!

Thanks- sunrises and sunsets can be so pretty! I am bummed that I somehow don’t manage to catch more in my daily life & usually only see (and really appreciate them) when we are on vacay.
Yeah – I know the feeling. Life’s too short!
