Dog Days of Spring

Two weeks ago, after arriving home from Baltimore to some very anxious dogs, I decided they needed some exercise on Sunday.  We headed up to the local *park* otherwise known as a powerline easement to get some of that energy out.

Mia still moves at a million miles an hour & Zoe was pretty feisty given that it’s not too hot outside yet.

It’s all flapping- ears, checks, tongue, tail!

There are so many critters in the field- birds & rabbits mostly, Mia is always finding something to chase or to point.

Zoe moves slower, but still investigates and sniffs everything at her own pace.  I was joyed to see her come back with a puppy smile.

My two crazy kids.  Mia is doing a bit better about not jumping *ON* people, she’s still a jumper though.  Another week or two, and I might trust her out of her kennel again during the days.  They have both been playing together lots more the past few months- fighting over toys, chasing each other around, and generally making lots of noise in my house.

GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: One week from today, I will be running my 3rd marathon with my best friend.
