Sunday Scribblings #263: Design.
Another tough topic- I guess mostly because I consider a design or designing to be the realm of the creative types & those with great vision or imagination. For every extra bit of math and science smarts I was dealt, it was very obviously taken out of my artistic talents. I have been trying to remedy that in the last few years- through photography & blogging, with writing prompts like these, checking out museums and art exhibits to deepen my appreciation for culture and history and working on a few other little creative type projects I hope to share in the next few months.
I wish I had design skills, but I hired I hired a lovely gal to help me with my blog design and layouts. We are considering getting a graphics designer at the office to assist us with some of the more advanced projects with to make them look more realistic.
I don’t claim to have any aspiraitons to be an interior design, thought I love looking at inspiration, I am pretty pleased with how the design and decor of our house came out- from kitchen remodel to painting various rooms.
My dad is an incredible home designer- he can have a vision in his head and just start sketching everything out with rooms and construction plans on his trusty notepad.
