Monday night in Baltimore I needed to catch up on work related stuff, but I wanted to get into town and do some exploring on Tuesday. My hotel was by the airport, so I took the freeway int town & loved seeing the road head straight for the football field
Right beside the football stadium, was my first destination- Camden Yards at Oriole Park.
Since hubby has been on a quest to see all the baseball stadiums across the country, I thought I’d use the opportunity to at least swing by and see the stadium since he often visits them without me.
It looked like a nice & new(er) park from the outside & it was just a few days before Opening Day or I would have tried to catch a game.
On the way out of town, I caught the backside of the park and adored all the old fashioned brick work. Hubby wants to re-visit the new Nationals stadium in DC, so I have a sneaking suspicion I might get to go back one day and actually catch a game.
GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: Officially headed to Lake Tahoe (Squaw Valley to be exact) at the end of June for a *fun* work trip that includes lots of free time to explore.
