My husband is the flower person in our relationship. I think they are nice & pretty, but I was always too cheap to buy them when I knew they’d die so quickly. When ever we have company or parties at our house, we always have fresh flowers decorating the tables.
When we first started dating, he mentioned that tulips were his favorite & I bought him some years ago. I was at the store last week & they had these beautiful tulips on sale, so I picked up some to brighten up his day & as a welcome sign that spring has arrived in Houston.
Right before the sun sets behind the houses across the street from us, the last rays of light stream in through our front door & illuminated the flowers against the darker kitchen. I really enjoyed playing with these & was even inspired to get my macro lens out and take few more photos on Saturday.
GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: One year ago today, we moved into our new house! It’s been a crazy busy year working & fixing things up.
