Sunday Scribblings #258: Big Where are you going to go with this one? You could go anywhere! What do you make of big?

As we have watched several Tom Hanks movies lately, my first thought was of the 1988 film that I remember from my childhood.
Secondly, the motto “Everything’s bigger in Texas!” True, geography wise, we’ve got lots of land. We love our big houses & big trucks, not to mention big hair and big heapin’ plates of beef.
I adore my big screen 24″ iMac….it’s glorious and makes photo editing fun.
Hubby has lots of big things going on at work right now, including more travel than I do.
In church today, I was struck with a deeper meaning & a thought that I often come back to- my God is big, bigger than anything else. Bigger than any problems I struggle with or crises I encounter. He’s bigger than the tsunamis and earthquakes, he’s bigger than the wars and famine around the globe. He’s bigger than I can ever even wrap my mind around. I don’t always understand why (tragedies may occur) or how (prayers may get answered), but I do know that He’s bigger than the universe and He is in control.
GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: Got to hang out with the girls today & have mimosas again for lunch.

I love the movie Big!
