Two weeks ago, we headed downtown on Sunday at noon to the adult bowling Alley- Lucky Strike.
It’s in the same hip area as House of Blues & where we took our love pictures, surrounded by yummy restaurants.
The inside is sleek & modern (and smoke free!). I loved all the decor & great atmosphere of the place.
There are tons of specials- food, drink & bowling combination to enjoy in their extra-large lounge and bar area. The place was packed quickly with people taking advantage of their Sunday brunch special which included bottomless mimosas or Bloody Mary’s.
There are 2 lane area & not many actual lanes, but our party was ushered into the back private area which is only 4 lanes adjacent to a gigantic pool table and lounge area.
I bowled & hubby took pictures while I enjoyed my mimosas. Did you know I was on a kid’s bowling league as a child? I have apparently forgot just about everything I learned 2 decades ago.
Bowling is always so funny & comical that I usually end up enjoying it more than I think I will. Birthday girl had a great time & it was fun meeting some new people.
Although my score of 80 pretty much sucked, I was fairly pleased with myself for getting 9 pins, although no spares OR strikes, in almost every frame.
GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: Feeling slightly less under the weather today, but didn’t finish my long training run this morning though.
How fun – bowling got an upgrade to swanky!
