SS: Eternity

Sunday Scribblings #251: Apologies for the delay everyone. It’s the same old argument between my computer and blogger.

I thought I’d go enormous this week, so the prompt is: eternity.

Well, this is an easy one.  When I think about eternity, I know that my little human mind can’t even comprehend eternity.  I get confused as the weeks and years pass by, wondering where they went, why I can’t remember then, and thinking I should have taken more photos in high school.   But I do know that I will spend eternity in heaven, as I have accepted Jesus Christ as  my personal Lord and Savior.  I don’t get too deep into my faith very often on the blog, but it’s impossible to discuss eternity without explaining my belief that there is more than this physical world that we measure as seconds turn into minutes.  With the knowledge that eternity will be spent in heaven, I really don’t have too many more details other than life will be good- really good.  I figure the Bible told me enough about heaven that it sounds like a pretty awesome thing- I’m not ready to go there now, but can’t wait to spend eternity there.

On a much lighter note, this drama queen seems to feel like every wasted second is an eternity & I need to GO now!  I’m incredibly impatient & keep myself so busy that every minute is precious towards accomplishing some thing on my list of things to do every day.  I drive fast, talk fast, move fast, walk fast (and trip frequently), run slow and am in motion constantly.  I always admire people with tons of patience, but I can’t seem to acquire that personality trait no matter how much I try.

GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: Church & yoga, play with the puppies & football with the hubby makes for an awesome day.
