Saturday (Christmas Day) around lunch time, we headed over to Mom & John’s house for our final round of Christmas. Again this year the regular size tree was replaced by a tall, skinny one adorned with beautiful crystals & surrounded by her Dickens Village.

Zoe was quick to spot the milkbone toys in the present pile for her. Her face is getting so white!!! It’s beyond obnoxious to try to get the two dogs new toys together- Zoe just terrorizes Mia until she has both toys and is a total grump.

Lots of presents, lots of goodies! Mom bought up some new patio furniture for our sitting area, a Keurig coffee pot for when we have gatherings & started a collection of ornaments based on all our travels.

As usual, the best part is the stockings at the end! Mia wanted to be part of the action & we know how much she liked the harmonica.

Hubby wasn’t feeling too good, so he opened his presents at our house later that evening. Santa brought him some clothes & a new rod and reel for fishing this year. I was lucky enough to score a new pink Coach purse & some clothes (plus my new camera which was an early Christmas present). Several days of excitement wore the pups flat out!
GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: So glad to be home, going through pictures, planning our year & getting all organized.
