Thanksgiving 2010

We had the moms over to our house for Thanksgiving-  we provide the place & accessories for the meal, and they provide the main courses! Curtis cooked up not one, but TWO turkeys that were delicious.  We had all the carbs & casseroles covered- squash casserole that I made, mom brought mac & cheese, mashed potatoes and cranberry, Elida made the dressing & race, Dana brought her famous rolls and beautiful desserts.

We love hosting events in our new kitchen- it’s great that everybody can eat together & sit around enjoying all the pre-meal snacks, including jalepeno poppers, deviled eggs & chili con queso.

Hubby did the honors of carving the turkey & was excited to use his electric knife.  The men enjoyed cigars & watching the big football game while the ladies shared stories & wine in the kitchen.

Thanks to H for taking a great shot of us gals!

GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: I promise that I’m really making progress on fixing my blog- new header, new layouts, 900 pixels on the blog- hopefully soon!

I love your kitchen! So much space and I love how you can see the TV from the kitchen too.
