Back to our wonderful weekend in Puerto Vallarta for Mark & Pam’s wedding. Instead of staying at the hotel by myself, I decided to tag along to Playa Fiesta for their rehearsal. I’d checked this place out when we were planning our wedding, but the logistics didn’t work out. I was THRILLED when they decided to have their wedding there. It was everybody’s first chance to see the venue & they were blown away!

Right on the beach, up a little on the cliffs. The ceremony area is a long, narrow elevated portion of the hotel where you are looking out at the beautiful ocean.

They had to drag everybody out of the pool & to the rehearsal, but the party kept right on going with the jokes and laughs all throughout the rehearsal.

After getting cleaned up, we headed downtown to Las Palomas restaurant for dinner. They had us set up on the lower level, around the pool with this view….

What a great way to watch the sunset into the ocean!

The food was delicious & the restauarant did a great job. We were able to watch a slide show of old photos of Mark & Pam, then a few people gave short speeches.

We did manage to get one picture of us, even if the centerpiece is in our photo!

Many of us went out downtown afterward to the clubs for some dancing & just to get the party started for the wedding on Saturday night…
GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: Hotel+airfare are booked for New York City for New Years Eve- Time Square here we come!

Times Square! Jealous!
Well, a bit jealous…..I don’t know that I could handle the crowds….
