I’m trying to knock out all of the non-wedding posts before I start on the wedding related posts from the weekend. I adore this hotel! We stayed here with all of our friends & family when we were married in Puerto Vallarta & everybody just loved it. Dreams Puerto Vallarta a little bit more expensive than the cheapest All-Inclusive hotels in Puerto Vallarta, but it’s so worth it! I was so excited that Mark & Pam decided to stay there with their whole wedding party & grateful to get another chance to stay at such a wonderful property. A few great things about Dreams- it is surrounded by the lush, tropical jungle & beautiful forest mountains on all sides, the private beach without tons of traffic or obnoxious vendors, great security & privacy, several restaurants & a great deal of variety in the food, 24 hour room service & a mini-fridge that is restocked as-needed, easy access to a gorgeous beach with crashing waves, lots of pool space with chairs & an adult only pool, a short $5 cab ride into town and finally many fun extra activities at night. There are two towers & this is the newer one where we stayed at- it has fewer, bigger rooms and a special “club” check-in area.

We stayed in a regular room last time & our room in the preferred tower was much larger this time. We had a large coach & two chairs, plus a giant balcony.

Though we stayed on a floor labeled “12th”, we were only about the 3rd story up. The views were still great, but they are super awesome on the higher floors- some which include a hot tub on the balcony.

I loved the bed! The frill/fringe decorations & there was a light behind the headboard a night which added extra ambiance. The bathroom was super swanky too- I just forgot to take a photo. We had an over-sized tub, a gorgeous vanity area & a fancy shower.

Our view from the balcony included the other tower, the adult infinity pool below and the Ocean Side grill that was on the beach. I loved sitting outside, watching all the people enjoying their slice of paradise.

The whole resort is very green- many flowers, trees, landscaping, vines and greenery to make everything so much more soothing.

There were lots of small palapas on the beach, where the waiters would bring you drinks if you wanted. There were some over-sized inflatables in the ocean to play on & you could also pay to go para-sailing right from the beach if you were up for the adventure. We watched several weddings take place on the beach and the gazebo, you could get a massage seaside or play a game of sand volleyball.

The hotel plans lots of special activities- from themed dinner nights to drinks from a freshly opened coconut! During the season, there is also a baby turtle release on the beach every night- which is awesome! There are no other hotels with the exceptional services & location that Dreams had tucked away among the rocky cliffs.
