Pleasant Hill Winery

Our next stop on the Texas Bluebonnet wine trail was the Pleasant Hill Winery, also just outside of Brenham.

We’d actually bought & enjoyed a bottle of theirs at the Houston Wine Festival (opps…guess I am still behind on a few events I need to catch up on).

We sampled a few of their wines & opted buy a bottle of the Collina Bianca.  In addiiton to the tasting room & gift shop, they have a small seating area inside & a pretty large deck outside to enjoy the wine with a view.

We ate some delicious Chappel Hill sausage, had some Texas-shaped crackers, melted chocolates in our mouth & took in the amazing fall weather.

All in all, we really enjoyed our stop here & loved the outside seating overlooking the vines on the hill.  It would be a great place to watch the sunset, but we finished our bottle too quickly!

GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY:  Our  mini Thanksgiving getaway is up to Fredericksburg to see a few more Texas wineries!
