Back to our Pennsylvania trip! Stephanie had spent a few weeks in Minnesota & the upper penninsula of Michigan before meeting up with us in Pittsburgh. With her camping gear & dog, she had a bit of rearranging to do before our drive to Philly.

Ginger had an adventure in the country while Stephanie spent the night in the city, but we picked her up on the way out of town. She and H were quick backseat buddies…

Clocks! I don’t post many clocks on the blog because I imagine most people aren’t interested. My type-A self has an obsession with documenting public clocks wherever I go. We stopped in the small town to pick up Ginger & they had this gorgeous & ornate clock the 2-block downtown area.

Apparently our conversation wasn’t entertaining to H or Ginger! And so we drove the 4 or 5 hours across Pennsylvania from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery.

Yup- Stephanie takes Ginger everywhere! There’s just something hysterical about this photo to me- us eating popcorn, the Yankee candle car air freshener, Ginger on point as we enter Philadelphia.

Approaching the city, the skyline is quite impressive. The tallest buildings, which resembles a USB flash drive, is Comcast’s national headquarters in Philadelphia.

It was July 4th & the city was in full Independence Day mode, with mini flags draped across some of the street. Stephanie dropped us off at our hotel so we could freshen up & head downtown for the festivities.
GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: I get a little mini-break from GED tutoring & don’t have class again for 2 weeks.

I love clocks!!
