One more random posts & then I’ll get back to blogging our Pennsylvania trip. The weather has been so ridiculously nice here- I can’t ever remember having such an amazing fall. I go home many afternoons- throw up the windows & head outside to work on my laptop or do some reading. The pups love hanging out in the yard, they’ve discovered a neighborhood squirrel & there are lots of migrating birds flying around right now.

I downloaded some new Lightroom presets for developing different looks/feels & I’m playing around with a few different styles. I love this candid photo of the two dogs both checking out the same noise from out front.

Zoe Zoe Zoe! She loves the cooler weather since the heat is starting to get to her as she gets older.

They love to chase their tennis ball in the backyard- especially if there is a treat involved for retrieving it.

Behind the garage, there is a section of fence & a few trees that the squirrel likes to run along, so the girls are sniffing for him.

Sorry for all the random processing- I didn’t know I’d be putting these all together in a collage. Ideally, I’d do them all the same- that lesson will have to be for next time! Mia is hysterical trying to catch a ball I throw straight up in the air & Zoe likes to hold the ball as gently as possible- she occasionally drops it & has to put on the brakes to pick it back up. Zoe gets impatient with me & begins to bark when I am getting my camera ready in one hand & trying to throw two tennis balls at the same time with my other hand.
GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: Virtual assistants rock! I’ve found a great woman who has been helping me behind the scenes- doing some routine blog maintenance and clean up so I can focus on photograph & new blogs. I’d highly suggest looking into a VA to help you do online or personal/secretary type of tasks that can be outsourced over the internet. Feel free to contact Jodi Tivey to help you with a variety of tasks! She’s the one who helped me organize all the New Zealand links on my trip summary page & was a life-saver!

what gorgeous photos! What kind of dogs are they?
Hello from SITS!
Awww…thanks! I’ve taken better photos of them- these were just some silly backyard snapshots. They are Vizslas- a Hungarian pointer, similar to a Weimeraner.
I just saw you link to your virtual assistant. What a great idea. I’ve been an admin for TWENTY YEARS and just got *job eliminated*. This is something I could do from home and enjoy Team V at the same time.
