One of my favorite things about flying out of Seattle is the spectacular flyby that you usually get to do of Mount Rainier. I’ve flown by a few times now & it’s still amazing how close to the top o f Mount Rainier you can fly and finally see the top above the clouds. I was sitting on the left side of the plane & I thin the right side of the plane might often get a view of Mount Saint Helen- like I did before.
Lots of snow and glaciers up on the peak….
Can’t tell from this picture, but it looked like the wind was whipping over the top of the mountain and snow was blowing….
And how cool is this- a rainbow from above!
