After crossing over the harbor on the Tacoma Narrows Bridge, we had to head back towards the airport so I could catch a flight. Our route took us to the Bremerton Ferry & past the Naval Base Kitsap, where we saw some really cool ships.

The ride was an hour long & I couldn’t believe this was a “normal morning commute” for many people We happened to see two tall sailing ships out doing maneuvers.

We passed the other ferry. They were really nice inside and unlike other ferries I had been on recently. Lots of room for car, room for people and bikes.

The ferry ride afforded us a great view of the surrounding areas and of the Seattle skyline as we approached.

Many modern, new buildings and sky scrapers make the downtown skyline beautiful.

Both the baseball and football stadiums are visible from the water.

We went out on the front of the boat & it was windy and cold!

The uber-cool space needle, which I’d visited on my previous trip to Seattle.

Supposedly, on a nice clear day, Mount Rainier will appear behind the skyline. No such luck for me…

A big ol’ cruise ship in town, probably heading up to Alaska for a cruise.
GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: Loving the 50 degree overnight low here in Michigan!
