Christine Falls, Mt Rainier National Park, Washtington
Our next stop at at Mount Rainier National Park was the beautiful Christine Falls. An awesome little bridge passes right in front of it and then over the river, and then you can also go below the falls and get some great shots.

I loved all the little side waterfalls where the water trickled down stair-step rocks.

Waling back up to the bridge & then looking back down to the river below- it was a long way down!

Back at the main falls, the bridge let you get close to where the water was pouring down into the hole below and carving away at the rocks.

The stop at Christine Falls also provided a great view of the nearby peaks.

From the bridge, you could also see an upper falls tucked back into the crevasses.

In one particular area, the falls morphs from a powerful stream into a gentle shower of water falling down.

GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: A day of resting and relaxing today!

Very pretty, and also the punchline to a corny joke that starts “What happens when Christine trips?”
