The last weekend we were home, I (semi) hosted a bridal shower for H’s best friend’s fiance. Her maid-of-honor didn’t have the room at her place & I was more than excited to have people at our place. The MOH & the sister did everything, including the cute party favor drinks with luggage tags, M&M and kisses candy bags, flip flop sugar cookies & all the decor.
Mark & Pam are getting married in Puerto Vallarat in October & we are SO EXCITED to go back, on the other end of things this time.
Lots of friends & lots of fun- a sure sign we will have a blast in Mexico in less than 2 months.
The girls all filled out advice cards for Pam while we were mingling.
Mark’s mom & sister were at the shower, although his sister won’t be able to make the trip to Mexico.
Savannah & Liz- our currently single ladies in the group. I’ve got a feeling that might change for Savannah in the next year though.
Parties mean presents! Love the new wrapping that Bed Bath & Beyond is using. We were able to show Mark & Pam’s engagement photos on our TV during the shower.
Pam got some great stuff- including a pair of chef’s top hats and aprons.
Most of the guests at the party- but a few had already left.
Things got casual at the crowd thinned- we brought the wine bottles into the living room & Jessica read all the advice cards for Pam.

The girls all drove over to Pam’s house to meet the guys, who’d been hanging out. We finished off the last of the shower food & laughed at an impromptu costume show.
GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: Oven & microwave are fixed- Kitchen Aid rocks!
