Mother’s Day Gathering

As is our annual tradition now, we had all the moms over to our house for Mother’s Day last weekend. We took quite a few photos, but this out-take cracked me up! I love everybody laughing & the fact that Gram alternates between cane and walker cracks me up. I’ll have many more portraits tomorrow.

The men plastered themselves in front of the TV to watch golf. H was very upset when he realized he was missing the Rockets beat the Lakers in the play-offs.

Kerri & her girls were there- they are so precious and beautiful and well-mannered and adorable! I could keep them if she’d let me

They colored and played with Zoe and then played hide & seek in the house.

H finally put his birthday grill to use cooking 8 lbs of fajita meat!

H’s mom brought over his baby photo album & everybody enjoyed looking through it.

Then all the moms checked out our wedding album- some of them hadn’t seen it. I still adore all of our wedding photos, but the *video* of my dad dancing with my sister like that is priceless!

This was it for lunch/dinner- we kept it simple, but we had guacamole, salsa and queso for appetizers.

After (during?) our meal the two girls really started to ham it up. Would you believe she ran away from me the first time I tried to take her picture that day?
