Photo Favorites of 2008

I had so much fun doing this last year, I wanted to round up my favorites of 2008. I’m a little behind in doing this, mostly because I’m not too happy with my photography stuff. I spent the first half of the year busily studying for my PE exam & I really had no excuse the 2nd half for being such a slacker. I’m going to make a point to focus more on my photography this year and hopefully I’ll have some better photos from 2009.

The above photo is something pretty & very different for me, but I loved visiting the museum after hours and seeing all the gems.

Of all my photos from Brazil & Argentina, nothing compares to this one I got on our helicopter ride over Iguazu Falls. I loved it so much, it’s hanging as a canvas in our dining room.

Another of my favorites was the Legislature building in Buenos Aires. Something about the green dome and moody clouds was a perfect setting for this gorgeous structure.

I took this photo about half-way to Austin when I went to do the Trash the Dress session with my friends. Also, taken standing up through the roof of my car. ;)

My birthday flowers were the perfect subject to start working my macro lens.

And of course, my favorite Zoe pictures of the all time I took last year.
I loved how beautiful the capitol of Denver appeared when I was lucky enough to be there with great light, lots of greenery and some moody clouds last September.

There were so many gorgeous mountain and lake photos from my trip to Pike’s Peak and Manitou Springs with Stephanie.

GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: Off to Florida for a few days working out of the office.
