Not my office! H’s office is almost done. =) There is also some shelving he put up to hold his favorite books and sport memorabilia. He might eventually get a TV, and he did purchase a desk chair a few weeks back. At this rate, I’m guessing it will be another year before everything is totally finished in there.
I did finish with the majority of the painting on my office this weekend. Wednesday night and Thursday night I painted 60 squares a lovely shade called Java Sea (by Glidden). I was very sore from sitting on the hard ground, cross legged for hours!
Friday the 4th, I spent the whole day painting the upper portion of the walls a lighter shade called Tahoe Blue. The majority of the work didn’t take too long, but all the touch ups around the still-pink edges killed me! I was very sore from running 9 miles, then spending 8 hours on my feet- mostly on a ladder.
I still have to sand down the wall putty in a few places and paint it. Then go over all the white trim and molding to touch up some places too. That will be fun (NOT).
GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: The furniture will be arriving tomorrow. (don’t ask how long to assemble and tidy up the room
