She was born in Iowa and was only a few months old when she took her first (and only so far) plane flight to Austin, Texas. I was in my last year of college, and wanted to have plenty of time to spend with her at home as a puppy before I started working full time in 2003.
Zoe is a Hungarian Vizsla, and when everybody goes looks confused, I say “She’s sort of like a Weimaraner, but smaller, cuter, more cuddly and kinda cinnamon color.
“Why a Vizlsa?” you may ask. And it was because, growing up, my dad had the best behaved dog ever- Zack, who was a Weim. I’d wanted a dog big enough to run with me, but not large and huge. I wanted something with a great personality and who was very loving. That’s a V!
This was one of the first days I had her at my apartment in Austin, and she was beautifully pointing at little flower!
