Welcome to our hometown- where we were both born and raised. We both love this photo of us in front of the downtown skyline. Use your imagination, you can even see a very faint rainbow on the left side of the photo.
We sort of live in suburbia, as you can tell by this map, but we try to go to TOWN often and enjoy it. There really is a LOT to do in Houston, and I love our skyline. After our wine adventure, we drove down Memorial Drive along the bayou.
This is a popular fountian along the jogging trails that line the bayou. You will often find joggers and their furry companions IN the fountain, cooling off.
The sheer number of new town-houses and high-rise condo’s going up “inside the loop” has blown my mind. H and I have watched the areas we grew up in, once abandonded as poor ghetto areas, being revitalized.
